Racial Equity
People of color face huge barriers and discrimination in every facet of society. While important strides have been made, they just reveal how much more work is needed.
Combating discrimination in schools, housing, the workplace, and criminal justice must be at the forefront of our efforts as legislators. While rectifying the obvious symptoms is important, we must dig deep and attack the systemic causes of racism and discrimination through laws, education, additional police reform, housing, and increased social services.
